Harrisonburg Family Farm Wedding | VA Wedding Photographer | Lanae & David

If you remember their engagement session, you’d know that I’ve been in love with this couple and their wedding since the day I met them. Lanae and David have been one the sweetest, most relaxed, and most fun couples I have ever had the pleasure to work with. After a serious summer-long countdown, the day finally came in early August. The continuous downpour that has been the year of 2018 nearly pushed the ceremony indoors, but luck (and the sun) was shining down on us and we were able to have the wedding in my favorite venue of the year: David’s family farm. Under a large tree in the middle of a clearing, strung up with fairy lights and surrounded by tiki torches, Lanae and David said “I do” surrounded by their dearest family and friends. A friend played the violin as the bridal party walked down the grass aisle, the family band sang throughout the ceremony, and a long-time friend officiated the whole thing. This wedding couldn’t have been more about the love of family and friends if it tried. A beautiful couple, a beautiful day, and a beautiful place made everything feel just right. As a surprise, the newlyweds walked down an aisle of fireworks and drove off into their future. Congratulations Lanae and David!
