JMU Graduation | Virginia Senior Photographer | Libby

Libby’s graduation portraits were for the books. She and her mother and sister drove from Charlottesville to Harrisonburg just for her portraits that morning. There was almost no one on the quad so we had the freedom to take all the portraits we wanted!

Because the morning light is coming from the opposite direction from all m evening sessions, Libby got a lot of unique angles and photos in her session! I’m absolutely loving the purple and yellow flowers outside Keezel and the tulips outside the health center! They were both places I had never photographed before, so Libby officially owns both of those places now.

I’ll never forget the bonding time we had while we waited for the columns near Madison Hall, and I’ll be sure to tell the story to all my future seniors while we’re there. I absolutely love getting to know my seniors and their families and sharing experiences on the quad. The hour flies by so much faster when we’re having fun. Overall, this was such a fun and memorable shoot.

Thank you Libby for seeing the value in graduation portraits. You’re going to do great things out there in the world!

Libby’s mother and sister were adorable, so of course we got some family photos in front of Wilson. Also, guess which sister is older? I got it wrong haha!

^ Officially Libby’s spot.

Absolutely in love with these photos. Libby was a natural and such a trooper for indulging me in some editorial photos.

Is she not meant for this spot??
