Throughout the year, I always do a few sessions for myself. I pick the location, pick the people, and look to remind myself why I love this job so much. Thankfully, I have a team full of willing and fun participants, and when I said I wanted to do a mini session in the Edith J. Carrier Arboretum, I was so happy when four of my favorite people braved the cold. In this session I wanted to try out a new lens and a few new posing activities, but I also wanted to give back to the people I love and give them images they can use forever. While photo shoots are normal for me, these ladies have very few opportunities to have professional photos done, and even fewer opportunities to have professional photos done while having fun with their best friends. I’m so happy that I could give them this, and I can expect to be doing it a lot more in the future, both for them and for me. Thank you to Ed, Roco, Crystal, and Rosie for coming out with me!
