While in Texas, I forced my brother to let me take his senior pictures. After days of bargaining, we finally came up with an agreement: 10 minutes of photos at the marina in exchange for not getting in trouble with our aunt. Although our parents said they wanted pictures of him in a nice suit and a cap and gown, I wanted this first shoot to be all about Christopher. I let him wear his sunglasses for half the shoot, as well as a very “Christopher”  outfit. Right behind me, our aunt and cousin were making him laugh and promising to not push him in.

Maybe next shoot, I’ll get a whole 15 minutes with him in front of the camera.
