I LOVE road trips. They’re my favorite way to see the world and create your own adventures. I’ve decided that it’s about time that you see some of my road trips from the past few years and experience everything I’ve seen. This is the road trip I took with my parents and brother north.

In the last two weeks of my summer vacation 2017, my family decided to take a road trip up the East Coast. This trip, we made major stops in Pittsburgh, Niagara, and Toronto, with smaller day-stops along the way. This is Part 3: Toronto.

Immediately upon entering the city, we did the biggest and most famous attraction the city has to offer: The CN Tower. It is the third tallest building in the world and offered spectacular views of the city the miles. Afterwards, we explored the ground by finding another Canada 150 sign, going to the aquarium, and meeting the first baby pandas born in Canada. The next day, we acted like tourists: we went to Casa Loma Castle, walked along the waterfront, shopped around the funky Kensington Market, and enjoyed every part the city had to offer. On the long drive home, we stopped a few times to break up the ride. Our first stop was Kinzua Bridge in Pennsylvania; it was named the “eighth wonder of the world” as the tallest bridge in the world, but after it was struck by a tornado it was turned into a tourist attraction. When we learned that it was built by Thomas Kane, we decided we had to stop! Our last name is Kane, and nearby is the town of Kane (named after Thomas) so there was no way we couldn’t stop. After exploring the town and the Kane Mansion, we decided to stay the night inside the historical site! During our last leg of the journey the next day, we made a final stop at Parker Dam in Pennsylvania before heading home. Two days later, I shipped back off to college! This roadtrip was an adventure I am truly grateful for, and I’m so happy I can share it all with you!
