My excitement for shoots is usually pretty high, but the anticipation for this one was unparalleled: my first wedding!! I’ve been looking forward to this moment for ages, and it’s finally come. After what felt like eons of preparation, last Saturday I spent 9 hours shooting the day from start to finish. Hilary and Brett created a welcoming environment, and it was such a pleasure to capture their wedding in its entirety. From the flowers in mason jars crafted by Hilary and her bridesmaids to the party favors of books and movie merchandise, and from the warm church to the beautiful terrace at the reception, the wedding captured the personalities of the couple and their charming guests. I’m so unbelievably happy that they let me be a part of the occasion!
