JMU Graduation | Virginia Senior Photographer | Allison W

Allison rocked her graduation session. We had everything we needed: sunshine, an empty Quad, her adorable pup, and her family support. Together we spent over an hour walking around finding new portrait locations and commemorating Allison’s time here at JMU.

We missed campus as much as campus missed us. The purple and gold tulips were in full bloom for our JMU spirit at the James Madison statue, the blue-stone looked as good as always, and Wilson was as grand as ever.

We spent a lot of our time in the Madison Hall columns. Tucker got his own cap and JMU collar, so we had to get some adorable photos. Bringing your dog to your session is one of the best ways to remember your time together, and I’m sure Allison will love these moments with Tucker forever.

Congratulations Allison, you’re going to make an awesome teacher!!

The tulips are only blooming for a few weeks in the spring and we were lucky to get them right at the end! By the end of the week, JMU’s landscaping team took them all away.

How adorable is Tucker’s JMU collar? He’s a Duke dog for sure!

Allison is the first of my seniors to get portraits in this little courtyard off the Quad. I loved the light so much and she rocked the wind. I’ll be coming back here for more portraits in the future!

Allison rocked her graduation portraits. Her cap was decorated perfectly!
Allison brought her dog Tucker to her graduation portraits. His cap was adorable!

We were laughing so much in these columns while getting these photos. They are definitely some of the cutest graduation portraits I’ve ever taken. I love having dogs at sessions, but having a dog CAP was the best! Of course I had to get some detail photos of Tucker with his hat.
