This was such an exciting shoot for me. After meeting Malia over winter break through our high school photography teacher, I’m so happy to say we’ve kept in contact and developed a friendship. Malia is the president of JMU’s chapter of KDP, and a couple weeks ago I took headshots at their third annual educators’ conference. Afterwards, I was so excited when she decided to hire me for her graduation portraits, which we took yesterday! Although it was incredibly windy and cold, we had a great time running around the Quad, jumping the wrong way on statues, and putting grad caps on the adorable Lilo. Malia, thank you for everything you’ve done for me and my business, and good luck on your trip to getting your masters!
