Bridgewater Barn Wedding | VA Wedding Photographer | Sarah & Josh
While planning a wedding, you can control almost everything: the venue, the photographer, the catering, the guests, the decor. The one thing you can never control? The weather. Blue skies and spring sun shine were in the plan leading up to Sarah and Josh’s beautiful outdoor wedding this April, but in the week leading up to their big day a snow storm decided to approach. SNOW in April, who would have thought? With temperatures dropping down to below freezing, the couple decided to move the ceremony indoors to a barn up the road from their reception venue. But did the snow stop anything else? Absolutely not. A first look in the beautiful white flakes and large heaters in the barn kept smiles on the faces of everyone present. After a heartwarming ceremony and a memorable exit, the sun came out on our drive to the reception venue, allowing us to get some unforgettable sunset portraits. As the day went on, the temperatures rose and the music grew louder, and we danced the night away. Congratulations Sarah and Josh!
